Four (4) new cases were confirmed for COVID-19 out of the 1,989 samples tested at the UVRI today. All new confirmed cases are Tanzanian truck drivers who arrived via Mutukula border. Total number of confirmed cases of covid-19 stands at 79 in Uganda.

All 1,408 samples tested today at the UVRI were negative for covid-19. 19 cases are still in stable condition in hospitals. The total confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Uganda still stands at 75 while there are 46 covid-19 recoveries in Uganda.

Today the 24th of April 2020, one (1) new case was confirmed for COVID-19 out of the 1,116 samples tested at the Uganda Virus Research Research Institute from truck drivers at the different boarderposts. This confirmed new COVID-19 case is of a 43-year-old Ugandan truck driver who arrived from Kenya via the Malaba border.

Eleven (11) new cases were confirmed for COVID-19 in Uganda out of the 1,331 samples tested at the Uganda Virus Research Institute today. The confirmed new COVID-19 cases were 6 Tanzanian truck drivers who arrived via Mutukula border and 5 Kenyan truck drivers; 3 arrived via Malaba and 2 arrived via Busia. Total number of confirmed cases of covid-19 stands at 74 in Uganda.

Two (2) new cases were confirmed for COVID-19 out of the 1,019 samples tested at UVRI. The confirmed new cases are of a 35-year-old Tanzanian truck driver who arrived from Tanzania at Mutukula border and a 43-year-old Tanzanian truck driver who is a contact to a previously confirmed case. Total number of confirmed cases of covid-19 stands at 63 in Uganda.
