From Evidence to Impact: Launch of the Research into Policy Toolkit

Date & time: 13 November 2025 | 16:00–16:30 EAT

Turning research into real-world impact is a shared goal - but it is not always straightforward. While significant progress has been made in clinical research on HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, and malaria, opportunities remain to strengthen how evidence informs policy and practice.

Challenges such as limited collaboration between researchers and policymakers, differences in working environments, and the need to tailor global evidence to local contexts can slow this process. Now, practical solutions are emerging.

The European & Developing Countries Clinical Trials Partnership (EDCTP) and The Global Health Network are excited to launch the new open-access Research into Policy Toolkit on the EDCTP Knowledge Hub.

The Research into Policy Toolkit supports researchers, policymakers, and health leaders to work together so that evidence informs policies and practice that lead to better health outcomes.

Don't miss this launch event to explore how this resource helps bridge the gap between research and policy, ensuring that evidence drives meaningful and lasting change in global health.
