  • New Viruses Found in Ticks and Mosquitoes

    The Ministry of Health has revealed that there are new viral infections identified from mosquitoes and ticks. Although the viruses have not been officially named, the Deputy Director of Uganda Virus Research Institute, Dr. Julius Lutwama, says they will soon reveal more information on the matter in the coming weeks. The revelation came during the Integration of Genomics in the Public Health Ecosystem workshop in Kampala.
