Nassejje Jacent is an Accounts Assistant of the EAPOC-VL Project at Uganda Virus Research Institute funded by EDCTP. She holds a BSc. Accounting and Finance from Ndejje University.

Jacent supports the accounting department through accurate record keeping, reconciling invoices and identifying discrepancies, participating in projects Audit close-outs, creates and updates accounts payable, does vouching and files accounts documents.
Jacent is an ambitious, motivated and multi-skilled Accountant with a keen eye for detail. Additionally, she works well individually, and as a team. Jacent’s excellent track-record in providing timely high-quality results, embracing accounting system and accounting practices with her traits of reliability enhances research activities and management at UVRI.
Working with Centenary Bank as an internee in the credits department (May – August 2018) and as an internee in the accounts department at UVRI (February 2019 to June 2020), as an Accounts Assistant to the Covid-19 Rapid Diagnostic Test Kit Evaluation Project (July 2020 – June 2021); hails a juxtapose of her accounting experience.
